（一）工件涂鍍、工件粘接前處理
噴砂能把工件表面的銹皮等一切污物清除，并在工件表面建立起重要的基礎圖式（即通常所謂的毛面），而且可以通過調換不同粒度的磨料，達到不同程度的粗糙度，大大提高工件與涂料、鍍料的結合力。或使粘接件粘接牢固，質量好。

噴砂清理能使工件露出均勻一致的金屬本色，使工件外表美觀，達到美化裝飾的作用。

對于某些特殊用途工件，噴砂可隨意實現不同的反光或亞光。如不銹鋼工件、木制家具表面亞光化，磨砂玻璃表面的花紋圖案,以及布料表面的毛化加工等。
